DMI and NASA, one step closer to launching rHEALTH-based space medicine.

Since its triumph at last fall’s Nokia Sensing XChallenge, the DNA Medicine Institute (DMI) has continued its collaboration with NASA. Under a procurement for the International Space Station, DMI is advancing its rHEALTH X technology for use by astronaut crew members.

Designed for long-duration space travel, the rHEALTH X system enables astronauts to monitor their own health autonomously, providing real-time diagnostics and vital health data. The Cambridge-based company has been awarded a Phase II follow-on contract to further refine the technology, bringing it one step closer to deployment in space.
