Team DMI Selected as Finalist in Qualcomm Tricorder XPrize
The XPRIZE Foundation has officially announced that DMI is a finalist in the $10 million Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE, one of the most ambitious competitions in medical technology. The contest began with more than 300 global teams, and has now advanced just ten remaining finalists whose technologies have the potential to fundamentally reshape personal health diagnostics.
“We are honored to be among such an elite group of innovators redefining the future of consumer diagnostics. Our mission has always been to democratize biomedical information — to put powerful medical insights directly in people’s hands. This recognition brings us one major step closer to that future,”
— Eugene Chan, MD
The Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE seeks a radical breakthrough: a portable, user-friendly device capable of autonomously diagnosing a range of health conditions anytime, anywhere — without requiring a hospital or clinical infrastructure.
DMI’s finalist selection recognizes the strength of its rHEALTH® platform, a lightweight and highly versatile diagnostic system engineered to deliver broad-spectrum lab analysis from a single drop of blood.
